To keep your chunky wooden box pergola in good condition, we recommend checking the timber periodically and keeping the structure clear of excessive dirt, leaves and debris. As the timber is pressure treated, it is designed for outdoor use, but over time it will naturally weather when exposed to sunlight and rain.

Once the timber has had sufficient time to dry and weather after installation, you may choose to apply a suitable exterior wood treatment, stain or preservative to help maintain its appearance and provide additional protection.
