Yes. Our box pergolas are made from pressure-treated timber to help protect the wood against rot, fungal decay and general outdoor exposure.

Not immediately. Pressure-treated timber is designed for outdoor use. Once the timber has had time to dry, you can apply a suitable exterior wood treatment, stain or water repellent if you want additional protection or a different appearance.

Box pergolas are ideal for outdoor dining areas, lounge furniture, BBQ spaces, garden entertaining areas, hot tubs, climbing plants and decorative lighting.

Yes. The open-rafter design works particularly well with climbing plants such as clematis, jasmine, honeysuckle and climbing roses.

Yes. The beams and rafters provide plenty of fixing points for lightweight outdoor festoon lighting, provided the lights and electrical connections are suitable for exterior use.

The most suitable fixing method depends on the surface. Common options include bolt-down post bases for concrete or structural decking, or other suitable timber post-fixing systems.

We don't currently provide a bespoke, made to measure service, however we do offer a wide range of standard sizes in both our freestanding and lean-to box pergola product options to suit lots of outdoor spaces.

We don't currently offer an assembly service, however our DIY box pergola kits are ideal to be constructed by keen DIY person(s) or tradesmen.
